    Zecharia Sitchen's The 12th Planet is the starting point on a quest that spans six books and 20 years worth of ancient aliens, genetic manipulation, and scrutiny of linguistic minutiae. If we trust Sitchen's translation abilities, we must be prepared for the imminent return of an alien race who created us some 300,0x00 years ago. The 12th Planet is perhaps the best written of Sitchin's Earth Chronicles series; full of example after example of ancient Sumerian passages, astronomical observations, archaeological finds, and technological coincidences supporting his theories. The price we pay for all this evidence is a bit of a dry read at times, but the ideas Sitchin proposes are more than scintillating enough to make up for the overtly scholastic tone of his text. --Brian Patterson

    I haven't read this completely but consider it to be an Excellent source of Information as to the Likely hood of our past and origin.

  • Incredibly Detailed Book

    By reading The 12th Planet, very early on one comes to realize that Mr. Sitchin knows his subject very well. The paralelles he draws are so incredibly detailed and meticulously documented that he leaves no doubt in one's mind that he is at the very least a master in the sciences, religions, history, and languages of the ancient past, as well as the present. Thank You for writing this amazing book Mr. Sitchin. You have gained a loyal pupil.

  • Changes your false perceptions of the history of man

    I think that about sums it up. After reading this, you will never view the origins of man in the same way.

    It is a VERY detailed book in regards to the studies of ancient language and archaeology. At times, it can be difficult to press through it due to the intensive scientific approach to data collection. However, the conclusions (that can be drawn directly and are not needed to be spoon fed by Sitchin) are stunning. Worth every minute of your time.

    This is not some guru new age dogma. While Sitchin says what he thinks, he never tells you what you should think. Approach it with an analytical mind.

  • Complete Mastery of Our Past

    The 12th Planet is one of the best books I have ever read. The material is presented in a way not to convince the reader, but to inform you of information that goes untouched by many scientists. I am a believer, and this book has increased my belief in God greatly. I recommend that you read the Bible along with The 12th Planet. Zecharia Sitchin referenced the Bible a lot in this book. I can honestly say that some of the text in the Bible that have left me puzzled for years, was answered after reading it. What's intriguing is when I asked those questions, such as "Who are the Nephilim?" I was either shut down or given very vague answers. This book is extraordinary! Read it with an open mind and you won't be the same. My suggestion is to have your Bible handy, trust me you'll need. Can't wait for "Book 2 Stairway to Heaven" to come in the mail!
